30-11-2024 Robin is a lovely girly who came to us from a breeder and arrived at the rescue pregnant with 6 beautiful pups who she has raised very well, and now Robin is waiting for her turn to be adopted. Robin can already walk on lead and walks right by your side but can get a little worried when she is somewhere she doesn't know or if there is a car coming past. Robin can be a bit flighty if she doesn't know you and has been known to be a fence climber when she is worried, so Robin will need a secure garden with a high fence to ensure her safety. But she would also love a large area where she can run around in as she loves to explore. Once she does know you, and is comfortable she is an angel and will wait for you at the front of the gate. Robin gets on with all dogs she has met so far at the rescue. Robin can be a little timid at times so would need a kind patient home. Robin would like a nice kind resident dog to show her the ropes in a home as she has never lived in one. Robin tries her hardest to be kennel clean but may need some a continuation of skill training in her new home. Robin is such a sweet angel and really deserves to be in a home with love and compassion. Robin is very good at being groomed and her adopters need to be knowledgeable about how to care for her coat and happy to take her to the groomers regularly. She has a cut on her rear right leg which is healing well and not causing her any problems.
Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
